Espresso
Build Your Bar
Machines and essentials for a serious home espresso setup.
Dual heating and an interactive touchscreen turn espresso, steam and hot water into one uninterrupted workflow.
Dual heating
Independent brew and steam circuits keep milk drinks moving: extract the shot while the wand builds texture, without waiting for the machine to switch modes.
Touch control
Choose a drink, tune temperature, pre-infusion and volume, then return to the same recipe without rebuilding it from memory.
Thermal stability
An aluminium bridge carries heat from the main heater into the brew head, helping the extraction path stay warm from inlet to puck.
Extraction core
A 58mm metal group and a full-size portafilter bring familiar cafe tooling into a compact home machine, with a 20-bar pump behind it.
Steam control
Choose a gentler steam setting while learning, then step up the temperature and nozzle flow as your milk control improves.
Complete kit
The supplied 58mm tamper, milk pitcher, portafilter, three baskets and alternate steam tip cover the complete espresso-and-milk workflow.

Compare the H13 against the H10 Plus and H10A.
Espresso is brewed by forcing hot water under high pressure through finely-ground coffee. The result is a concentrated shot with crema — denser and more intense than filter coffee. The H13's dual thermoblock delivers precise, stable temperatures for both brewing and steaming simultaneously.
A single-thermoblock machine can't brew and steam at the same time — you wait for it to switch modes. The H13's dual thermoblock runs separate heating elements for the group head and steam wand, so you can pull a shot and froth milk at the same time. Faster workflow, more stable brew temperature.
Very fine — finer than table salt. Target a shot time of 25–30 seconds for a 1:2 ratio (e.g., 18g coffee → 36g yield). Go finer if the shot tastes sour and runs fast; go coarser if it tastes bitter and runs slow. A burr grinder is essential.
The H13's interactive touchscreen lets you select brew mode, adjust temperature, and program shot volumes. Once you've dialled in a shot, save the settings and the machine replicates it. It also guides you through maintenance reminders like descaling.
After each session: purge and wipe the steam wand, rinse the portafilter, run a blank shot. Descale when the machine prompts you — follow the on-screen instructions with a commercial descaler. Use filtered water to extend intervals.
