I had a Delonghi Icona for 9 years, and it finally gave out. I was going to buy the Dedica, but I kept hearing bad reviews about the steam power. This machine is a more mature machine, meaning you have to learn it, to dial it in for the right pull. However it’s very easy to learn, and it has nice features like its dual boiler technology which lets you steam directly after pulling a shot, no wait time. Everyday I make a cappuccino for my wife and an Americano for myself so the water nozzle is also very nice feature. I’m using Cothas 60/40 arabica/robusta blend right now and the crema is amazing using the double shot non pressurized basket. I’m loving it.
Just what I needed. All things premium. Slightly on the higher end of pricing, but the C5 Esp Pro delivers just as it promises. Go for it.
I upgraded from a Hario mill to the C5 ESP PRO, and it has been the best investment since. The precision dial is great to really tune your grind size for that perfect shot. And the burr is just fast and precise. Get this, don’t overthink.
The grinds are good, it is light and quite portable, and makes for great aeropress and pourovers.
It would have been nicer if it came with a cleaning brush and maybe if it had a slightly better build.
Timemore C5 ESP is a compact, well-built manual coffee grinder that delivers consistent and clean grinds from espresso to filter. It’s smooth to turn, portable, and good value, offering a premium feel without a heavy price tag. Best for home users who enjoy the ritual of manual grinding — great for pour-overs and capable for daily espresso. Not as fast or effortless as electrics, but excellent performance for its size and cost.
