HiBREW Warranty

This page covers all HiBrew coffee machines, grinders, and electric HiBrew accessories officially imported and sold by Fix Coffee. It is read together with our master Warranty Information page, which covers the general terms, remedies, appeals, and grievance procedure.

Coverage at a glance

  • Warranty period: 12 months from the delivery date for domestic/home use.
  • Territory: India only.
  • Free pickup on confirmed defect, in line with our obligations under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

Covered components

  • Motor, pump, heating element, power electronics, control boards — defects in materials or workmanship.
  • Non-wear structural components — machine housing, fixed metal parts, and fixed assemblies that are not adjustment or moving parts and that fail under normal use.

What is not covered

  • Wear parts and moving components — burrs, blades, adjustment rings and collars, springs, belts, O-rings, seals, knobs, handles, adjustable or rotating parts.
  • Alignment, calibration, or drift over time — adjustments needed due to use, transport, or environmental changes.
  • Performance variables or technique outcomes — grind dial-in, extraction taste or flow, tamping technique.
  • External causes — incorrect voltage, power surges, liquid ingress, non-approved accessories, neglect of cleaning or maintenance, foreign objects, impact or drops.
  • Serial or identifier issues — warranty on a unit with a removed, defaced, or altered serial number does not apply, nor do units purchased from unauthorised dealers.
  • Cosmetic issues — scratches, paint or finish variation, blemishes that do not impair function.

Before you file a claim (quick checks)

  1. Make sure the machine or grinder is clean, with no blockages or foreign objects in the burr chamber, chute, or grounds path.
  2. Check that user-adjustable parts (dials, rings) are not overtightened and are correctly assembled.
  3. Verify power supply and voltage; test an alternate outlet; ensure proper electrical grounding.
  4. Gather your invoice or receipt, photos or video showing the defect (wide and close-up), model variant, and serial number if present.

How to file a claim

  1. Raise a ticket at support.fixcoffee.in and select your HiBrew product, or email support@fixcoffee.in, or WhatsApp us at +91 96507 41802.
  2. Attach your order number or receipt, model name and variant, serial number if available, photos or video of the defect, and a description of what you have already tried.
  3. We acknowledge within 24 hours with a ticket number and run remote diagnostics. If the fault is not resolved remotely, we issue a Return Material Authorisation and arrange pickup within 3–5 working days at our cost.
  4. Our technicians bench-test the unit at our Lucknow workshop and issue a short Failure Analysis Report within 7 business days of receipt. Where a covered defect is confirmed, you choose the remedy — repair, replacement, or refund — per Section 4 of the master Warranty Information.

Packing for pickup

Please pack the unit securely — original packaging and padding are ideal. Damage during transit to our workshop caused by inadequate packing is not covered. Our courier will collect the packed unit from your address.

Spare parts and out-of-warranty support

  • Wear parts (burrs, adjustment parts, knobs, seals) are available for purchase separately.
  • Out-of-warranty repairs or part replacements are available as paid service work.
