HiBREW Warranty & Support (India)

Applies to: All HiBREW coffee machines, grinders, and electrically powered HiBREW accessories officially imported and sold by Fix Coffee or our authorised partners in India.

1) Coverage Summary

  • Warranty period: 12 months from purchase date for domestic/home use.
  • Covered components (manufacturing defects):
    • Motor / pump / heating element / power electronics / control boards defects due to material or workmanship failure.
    • Non-wear structural components: machine housing, fixed metal parts, fixed assembly elements that are not adjustment or moving parts and that fail under normal use.
  • Territory: India only. Purchases made/used outside India are excluded.

2) What’s Not Covered (Exclusions)

  • Wear parts / moving components: burrs, blades, adjustment rings/collars, springs, belts, O-rings, seals, knobs, handles, adjustable/rotating parts etc.
  • Alignment, calibration, drift over time: any adjustments needed due to use, transport, or environmental changes (e.g. burr alignment, calibration of grind settings, factory zero etc.).
  • Performance variables or technique-driven outcomes: grind setting “dial-in”, extraction taste/texture, shot flow/time, tamping or brewing technique effects.
  • Damage due to misuse or external causes: incorrect voltage, power surges, liquid ingress, using non-approved accessories, neglect of cleaning/maintenance instructions, foreign objects lodged in components, impact / dropping etc.
  • Serial/identifier issues: warranty void if serial number removed, defaced or altered, or purchase from unauthorized dealers.
  • Cosmetic damage: scratches, paint/finish variations, blemishes that do not impair function.

3) Pre-Claim Checklist (What to Do Before Submitting Claim)

  1. Ensure the machine or grinder is clean, with no blockages, foreign objects in burr chamber, chute or grounds path.
  2. Verify that any user adjustments are not overtightened or wrongly assembled (e.g. adjustable dials / rings etc.).
  3. Check power supply/voltage; test alternate outlets; ensure proper electrical grounding.
  4. Gather proof of purchase (invoice/receipt), photographs/videos showing defect (outside & inside), model/variant, serial number if present.

4) How to Submit a Warranty Claim

  1. Fill out our warranty claim form, selecting your HiBREW product.
  2. Attach:
    • Order number / purchase receipt.
    • Model name/variant and serial number (if available).
    • Photos/videos showing the defect (wide + close-up of affected area).
    • Description of steps you’ve already tried (e.g. cleaning, checking voltage, etc.).
  3. After confirming the defect in a covered component, we’ll arrange for repair or replacement (or refund if replacement isn’t possible), at our discretion.

Logistics: A ₹1500 pick & drop service fee applies for warranty claims. Please package the product securely (original packaging and padding recommended). Damage during transit due to inadequate packaging will not be covered.

5) Spare Parts & Out-of-Warranty Support

  • Wear parts (burrs, adjustment parts, knobs, seals, etc.) are available for purchase separately.
  • Out-of-warranty repairs or part replacements are available as paid service work.
