How to set a wallpaper

iPhone

  1. Tap Download. When the picture opens, touch and hold it, then tap Save to Photos.
  2. Open Photos, open the wallpaper and tap the Share button.
  3. Tap Use as Wallpaper, move or pinch it until it looks right, then tap Add.
  4. Choose whether to use it on the Lock Screen, the Home Screen or both.
  5. On iPhone Duo, set the tall outer wallpaper with the phone closed. Then open the phone and set the wide inner wallpaper the same way.

Android

  1. Tap Download. The file saves to your Downloads, and shows up in Gallery or Photos.
  2. Open the wallpaper, tap the menu (three dots) and choose Set as wallpaper. On some phones it is called Use as.
  3. Pick Home screen, Lock screen or both, adjust it, then tap Done.
  4. On a foldable, set the tall wallpaper on the cover screen and the wide one on the main screen.
