The burr grinder is decent, this is my first good coffee grinder and I used it with French press, the coffee comes out good. I used to use spice grinder before and comparing it to that the taste is much clearer and bright. I do not know if the plastic body lasts though, would go for the metal body if I could.

Awesome grinder! best I have ever used or owned! Titanium burrs are amazing! Even for filter coffee.
I recently purchased the df54 through fix coffee, had to wait a bit, but it was worth the wait.. preciously I have been using a integrated conical burr grinder in my Breville machine, where I couldn’t juice beyond a point which brought me to point of going for an external grinder (df54), I was totally impressed with the grind quality and fluffyness of the ground coffee I never got to see in my other grinder, even the extraction quality has improved, I won’t say by million bucks but a noticeable difference,, the only reason for me cutting down on 1 star was on 2 observations - (1) ppl using non 58mm porta filter it take some effort to transfer the grind which there was some adapter! And (2) watch out when you directly keep the porta filter for grind collection instead of df54 collection cup, it might lead to clogging resulting in dismantling of grinder the clog.. otherwise this would have been a perfect 5 pointer for me!
Very good device, takes some time to figure out the various parameters like pour rate quantity of beans, but once you do superb coffee. Being a used of light and very light which are the more difficult coffee to brew, this product does a fine job
