The Fix Coffee Force Impact Tamper 2.0 is 58.35mm — the standard size for home espresso including HiBREW H10A and H10 Plus. For 51mm machines, the Fix Coffee Spring Tamper is available in 51mm.
Both use impact mechanisms to deliver calibrated tamping force, but differently. The Impact Tamper 4.0 gives a crisp mechanical click at the pressure point. The Force Impact 2.0 uses a different internal mechanism that produces a deeper, more pronounced sound at the same moment. If you find the click too subtle, the Force Impact's sound is more noticeable — personal preference guides the choice.
The sound signals you've reached target tamping pressure. Once you hear it, release — no need to push further. The same sound every tamp means the same pressure every tamp. It eliminates second-guessing and produces a consistent puck without relying on feel.
Unscrew the top cap to access the spring chamber. Rotate the tension collar to increase or decrease the spring force — tighter means more resistance before the sound feedback triggers, looser means a lighter tamp weight. Tune it once to your preferred pressure and leave it. Most home baristas settle between 25–35 lbs. Tamping depth stays at ~23mm regardless of the spring setting.
Wipe the stainless steel base after each use. For deeper cleaning, wash with warm soapy water and dry immediately. Avoid submerging the impact mechanism. The aluminum alloy body wipes clean with a damp cloth.
The Fix Coffee Force Impact Tamper 2.0 comes with a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. Contact support@fixcoffee.in for claims.
