Very good device, takes some time to figure out the various parameters like pour rate quantity of beans, but once you do superb coffee. Being a used of light and very light which are the more difficult coffee to brew, this product does a fine job
I’ve tried French presses before, but the coffee always ended up kind of muddy. This one is better because the rubber seal keeps most of the fine grounds in, so the coffee is cleaner. I also like the glass body. it feels sturdy and doesn’t seem like it’ll break easily. It also looks nice on my counter.
Super easy cleaning brush. The bristles are high quality. Give it a couple swirls and the portafilter is clean!
This portafilter is a single piece of art every coffee lovers must own. I had gone through several reviews on precision baskets for days and ended up with this wonder. To begin with, the moment you hold this portafilter, you instantly feel the premium build heft and the workmanship that had gone into it. The dosage range (*18-23grms from my personal experience) gives another degree of freedom. The extraction is sweet,extremely consistent, zero burnt astringentcy and a level up in the espresso game. I had never tasted the best espresso in my life until I bought this portafilter. Buy once and have it for life!
Was looking to buy this grinder for a long time, finally sold my C2 and pulled the trigger on R3. Had some trouble because of the courier company the guys at Fix coffee were super helpful in sorting out the issue with the courier company. As far as the product is concerned it is very well built, feels very premium in hand and the speed and micro adjustments is definitely a much needed upgrade over my C2.
