What size dosing ring do I need?

The Fix Coffee Magnetic Dosing Ring is 58mm — matching the standard HiBREW H10A and H10 Plus portafilter baskets. Most home espresso machines globally use 58mm. Measure your portafilter basket's inner diameter before ordering. If your basket is 51mm or 54mm, this ring will not fit.

Does the magnetic dosing ring work with all portafilters?

The magnetic hold works with any portafilter basket that has a steel or magnetic rim — the HiBREW H10A and H10 Plus baskets are fully compatible. On non-magnetic stainless steel baskets, the ring still sits by friction — the flared funnel keeps it centred. Check your basket material if unsure.

Can I grind directly into the dosing ring?

Yes — that's the primary use case. Place the ring on your basket, hold the portafilter under your grinder's outlet, and grind. The funnel catches all grounds and directs them into the basket. Once done, remove the ring and proceed to distribute and tamp. No spillage, accurate dose.

How do I clean the dosing ring?

Wipe with a dry cloth after each use to remove ground coffee. For a deeper clean, rinse under warm water and dry immediately. The aluminum alloy is rust-resistant but not waterproof — avoid soaking. The built-in magnets need no maintenance beyond keeping them dry.

Fantastic Experience So Far!

Great grinder for any enthusiast. 64mm burrs give it flexibility and versatility for the future too. Aligned my burrs and the consistency since is 👌🏼. Love the white colour!

Delivery to my address was super fast too. Less than 3 days. Well packaged.

* Good service experience too: I had a minor potential issue one month in with a strange rattling sound. No issue with the functionality at all, purely a noise it was making from near the base. The fixcoffee team understood my query about it via a submitted video and ticket, and assigned a service agent in my city (New Delhi) promptly who visited the very next day... and it turned out to be just a plastic bit that had come loose from its zip-tied housing, which was fixed within 2 minutes. Great service by the gentleman.

So far, I've been thrilled with this upgrade in my coffee and espresso setup. Minor hiccup aside, it's been a great experience. Highly recommend!

Perfect Calibrated Tamps Every Time!

So this is my second tamper from Fix Coffee, earlier was using the normal spring tramper comparing both I can say that this one is a bit higher quality and is easier to tamp with as you get a audible click feedback from the tamper when you reach the set tamping force, even adjusting the tamping force is also easy, just unscrew the top cover and set according to how much force you want! The tamper base also covers almost to the edges of the basket so there is less grounds that you can see on the outside edge of the basket!
Overall would recommend this tamper for the price it is offered!

This is my first Automatic Grinder(DF54). I researched a lot before I bought this one. Good grinder for beginners.
