Temperature

Ten degrees of choice.

PID holds the thermoblock at the number you set on the colour display. Down at 88 °C for a dark roast, up at 98 °C for a bright light roast.

Milk while the shot runs.

A dedicated SuperSteam thermoblock feeds the wand while the PID thermoblock holds brew temperature. Seven steam levels on a 360° two-hole wand — from latte-art microfoam to full cappuccino.

The WPM PRIMUS SLIM (KD-360S) brings the PRIMUS family's variable-pressure extraction, PID temperature control and dedicated SuperSteam thermoblock into a body 235 mm wide with the water tank built in.

Variable pressure: set the extraction pressure your coffee wants on twin 15-bar vibratory pumps.

Three heating stages: 0.35 L boiler, PID-controlled thermoblock for the brew path and a separate SuperSteam thermoblock, so you can brew and steam together.

Barista controls: 88–98°C brew temperature on the LED colour display, 7-level steam on a 360° two-hole wand, 58 mm metal group head.

What is the difference between the PRIMUS SLIM and the PRIMUS?

The SLIM is 40 mm shallower (450 mm vs 490 mm), has a 1.6 L built-in top-loading tank instead of the PRIMUS's 1.8 L, and uses a 0.35 L boiler with twin vibratory pumps where the PRIMUS uses a 0.8 L boiler and a gear pump. Both share the PID thermoblock, SuperSteam thermoblock, 58 mm group and variable-pressure extraction.

What does variable pressure do for my espresso?

Different coffees extract best at different pressures. Lighter roasts often taste sweeter at a gentler pressure; classic blends are built for 9 bar. The SLIM lets you set the pressure instead of taking the fixed output of a single pump.

Can I steam milk while pulling a shot?

Yes. A dedicated SuperSteam thermoblock heats for the wand while the PID thermoblock holds the brew temperature, so there is no mode switch and no waiting between espresso and milk.

Which grinder should I pair with it?

A 58 mm machine with variable pressure rewards a grinder with fine, repeatable espresso adjustment. The DF54 V4 or DF64 Gen 2 are the natural partners; the KINGrinder K6 is the hand-grinder option.

What warranty does the PRIMUS SLIM come with?
