MHW-3BOMBER Warranty

This page covers MHW-3BOMBER accessories and tools — tampers, distributors, WDT tools, dosing funnels, pitchers, scales, cups, portafilters, and similar items — officially imported and sold by Fix Coffee. It is read together with our master Warranty Information page, which covers the general terms, remedies, appeals, and grievance procedure.

Coverage at a glance

  • Warranty period: 12 months from the delivery date for domestic/home use.
  • Territory: India only.
  • Free pickup on confirmed defect, in line with our obligations under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

Covered components

  • Non-wear structural components — metal bodies, frames, and handles fixed to bodies — when they fail from a manufacturing defect under normal use.
  • Embedded electronics where applicable (for example, scale circuitry) when used as intended.
  • Fasteners or fixed assemblies — permanent pins or screws that shear without abuse.

What is not covered

  • Moving or wear parts — tamper springs and plungers, WDT needles and wires, bearings, adjustment collars and rings, hinges, knobs, clips, bellows, seals, O-rings, silicone gaskets, catch cups, lids.
  • Alignment, calibration, or performance expectations — distribution evenness, tamp pressure "feel", flow patterns, latte-art outcomes, extraction time or taste.
  • Cosmetic issues — minor scratches, finish blemishes, anodising tone variation, laser-marking variance that do not affect function.
  • External causes — misuse, impact or drops, liquid ingress into non-waterproof electronics, exposure to corrosives or heat beyond spec, improper cleaning, modifications or non-approved parts, foreign objects.
  • Units from unauthorised sellers or with removed or altered serial numbers — not covered by the manufacturer warranty.

Before you file a claim (quick checks)

  1. Identify wear vs defect. Springs settling, needle deformation, ring backlash in adjustable parts, or finish micro-marks are normal wear or cosmetic and not warranty.
  2. Tamper and distribution checks. Reassemble per the manual; seat needles straight; keep set screws snug; do not overtighten adjustable rings.
  3. For electronic items (for example, scales). Replace batteries or charge fully, check the surface is stable, tare correctly, and test with a known weight.
  4. Purchase proof. Confirm your invoice is from Fix Coffee or an authorised partner.

How to file a claim

  1. Raise a ticket at support.fixcoffee.in and select MHW-3BOMBER, or email support@fixcoffee.in, or WhatsApp us at +91 96507 41802.
  2. Attach your order number or receipt, model name, photos or video of the issue (wide and macro of the affected area or mechanism), and a short description of troubleshooting steps tried.
  3. We acknowledge within 24 hours with a ticket number and run remote diagnostics. If the fault is not resolved remotely, we issue a Return Material Authorisation and arrange pickup within 3–5 working days at our cost.
  4. Our technicians inspect the unit at our Lucknow workshop and issue a short Failure Analysis Report within 7 business days of receipt. Where a covered defect is confirmed, you choose the remedy — repair, replacement, or refund — per Section 4 of the master Warranty Information.

Packing for pickup

Pack items securely. Transit damage caused by inadequate packing is not covered. Our courier will collect the packed parcel from your address.

Spare parts and out-of-warranty support

  • Wear parts (springs, needles, seals, etc.) are available as paid spares.
  • Out-of-warranty repairs or part replacements are chargeable.
