MHW-3BOMBER Warranty & Support (India)

Applies to: Officially imported MHW-3BOMBER accessories and tools (e.g., tampers, distributors/WDT tools, dosing funnels, pitchers, scales, cups, portafilters) purchased from Fix Coffee or our authorised partners in India.

1) Coverage Summary

  • Warranty period: 12 months from purchase date for domestic/home use (per Fix Coffee standard for non-electric accessories).
  • What we cover (defective parts):
    • Manufacturing defects in non-wear structural components (e.g., metal bodies, frames, handles fixed to bodies), and in embedded electronics where applicable (e.g., scale circuitry) used as intended.
    • Defects in fasteners or fixed assemblies that fail under normal use (e.g., permanent pins/screws that shear without abuse).
  • Territory: India only.

2) What’s Not Covered (Exclusions)

  • All moving parts as wear-and-tear — e.g., tamper springs and plungers, WDT needles/wires, bearings, adjustment collars/rings, hinges, knobs, clips, bellows, seals, O-rings, silicone gaskets, catch cups, lids.
  • Alignment / calibration / performance expectations — e.g., distribution evenness, tamp pressure “feel,” flow patterns, latte art outcomes, extraction time/taste/consistency.
  • Cosmetic issues — minor scratches, finish blemishes, anodizing/color tone variation, laser-marking variances that don’t affect function.
  • Damage or faults caused by misuse, impact/drops, liquid ingress (into non-waterproof electronics), exposure to corrosives/heat beyond specs, improper cleaning/maintenance, modifications or use of non-approved parts, or foreign objects.
  • Units purchased from unauthorised sellers or with removed/altered serial numbers (manufacturer warranty invalid).

3) Pre-Claim Checklist

  1. Identify wear vs defect: Springs settling, needle deformation, ring/backlash in adjustable parts, or finish micro-marks are normal wear/cosmetic and not warranty.
  2. Tamp/Distribution checks: Reassemble per manual; ensure needles are seated straight; verify set screws are snug; do not overtighten adjustable rings.
  3. For electronic items (e.g., scales): Replace batteries/charge fully, check stable surface, tare correctly, and test with a known weight.
  4. Purchase proof: Verify your invoice is from Fix Coffee / an authorised partner.

4) How to Submit a Warranty Claim

  1. Submit our warranty form and select MHW-3BOMBER.
  2. Attach:
    • Order number / receipt (authorised-dealer proof).
    • Model name and photos/videos of the issue (wide + macro of the affected area/mechanism).
    • Short description of troubleshooting steps tried (from Pre-Claim Checklist).
  3. If a covered defective part is confirmed, we’ll arrange repair or replacement (or refund at our discretion).

Logistics: A ₹1500 pick & drop service fee applies to all warranty claims. Pack items securely; transit damage from inadequate packaging isn’t covered.

5) Returns & After-Sales

  • Wear parts (springs, needles, seals, etc.) are available as paid spares. Out-of-warranty repairs/part replacements are chargeable.
