I have been making espresso coffee since January 2020 at home and I bought this impact tamper in mid-April 2026. I checked the pressure and it is spot on as described and I measured the base with a precision tool and it is spot on at 58.35! This is important for me because I can get a flat coffee grounds surface without raised edges as it happens in smaller tampers which can lead to channeling and streams of steam and water spraying in different directions unexpectedly! So it is an easy matter to adjust grind size to this tamper's pressure in order to get your required pressure on the gauge and subsequent output. I am very happy with the consistent result that I am now able to get without any surprises.
Great grinder for any enthusiast. 64mm burrs give it flexibility and versatility for the future too. Aligned my burrs and the consistency since is 👌🏼. Love the white colour!

* Good service experience too: I had a minor potential issue one month in with a strange rattling sound. No issue with the functionality at all, purely a noise it was making from near the base. The fixcoffee team understood my query about it via a submitted video and ticket, and assigned a service agent in my city (New Delhi) promptly who visited the very next day... and it turned out to be just a plastic bit that had come loose from its zip-tied housing, which was fixed within 2 minutes. Great service by the gentleman.
So far, I've been thrilled with this upgrade in my coffee and espresso setup. Minor hiccup aside, it's been a great experience. Highly recommend!

So this is my second tamper from Fix Coffee, earlier was using the normal spring tramper comparing both I can say that this one is a bit higher quality and is easier to tamp with as you get a audible click feedback from the tamper when you reach the set tamping force, even adjusting the tamping force is also easy, just unscrew the top cover and set according to how much force you want! The tamper base also covers almost to the edges of the basket so there is less grounds that you can see on the outside edge of the basket!
Overall would recommend this tamper for the price it is offered!
This is my first Automatic Grinder(DF54). I researched a lot before I bought this one. Good grinder for beginners.
